​​​​​​Updating the Group Settings

In my previous post around creating a collaboration group in Office 365, I've mentioned that certain settings can be updated once the group is created. There are many ways to access the group settings, but the one discussed here will be through the browser after logging into Office 365 in the browser​and you must be an owner of the group in order to make changes.​

How to update the​ Group Settings

  1. Log into Office 365 with your VSB email
  2. Select Outlook and locate your collaboration group under the Groups label

  3. Look for the " ​gear icon" in the upper right corner and select "Edit Group" from the slide out panel.

    Please note that the group mailbox address cannot be changed, despite "Name" of the group being editable.​ 

  4. Click Save, along the top, after you have finished with your edits
